Q How much is delivery? (UK)

A. All P & P costs are indicated clearly in the shopping cart during the purchase process, currently free in the UK

If your order is outside of the UK the delivery tariff is the same wherever in the world you may be, namely £19.99, simply select your country during the order process and the appropriate delivery charge will be applied to your order.  We have recently lowered our delivery charges due to our huge volumes of shipped covers worldwide and this amazing low cost delivery is being passed onto our customers so more people around the world can take advantage of one of our covers.

Q. Where do you deliver?

A. Everywhere, simply select your country and region during purchase and the correct postage will be applied to your order, FREE in the UK, £19.99 everywhere else.

Q. How long will my order take

A. We aim to dispatch your order within 24 Hours of your payment clearing for all covers held in stock. All of our covers are hand made to the bike model you have chosen.  Our bespoke & custom covers manufacturing time is longer and this is reflected in the delivery time for these types of covers, currently 2-3 weeks. If you need your cover urgently please email us and we will check stock availability to see if we can get it to you earlier.

Q Do you price match?

A: Yes. We sell through multiple partners online and are prepared to beat what is out there. Show us a CHEAPER PRICE on the same product and we'll beat it by 5%.  All we need is proof via a link of the item you have seen with the price and postage from the competitors site added together. Note, price match applies to pre-cover purchase, we do not go down the route of price match after purchase.

Q. What colours are the covers and can I have a logo?

A. All colours and logo options are available to select on our product pages. Simply click your bike brand and follow the online instructions. Please note the "Swatch" pop out colour combination aplet is for the fully customisable Prestige Indoor Sports Bike range. Although the colours shown in part apply to some of the rest of our outdoor cover range they do not all apply to the outdoor Motorbike covers. All outdoor Covers are available in the colour selections shown, with a choice of Grey or Black top panels. We can supply any colour combination for Outdoor covers, however, there is a customisation charge applicable to non-standard colour choices. Call 0191 2846498 for details.


Q:: Is the STORMSHIELD OUTDOOR COVER Breathable?

A:: Yes, Totally waterproof, yet totally breathable material.


Q: Do the STORMSHIELD OUTDOOR COVERS cover’s have a soft internal lining?

A: Yes,

Our Stormshield fabric has been developed with a soft, non-abrasive backing that has been specifically designed to be gentle to paint and bodywork. Our Quality Assurance team check every cover before it leaves our facility, ensuring that our high standards are maintained.

Q:: How is the STORMSHIELD OUTDOOR COVER attached to the bike?

A: :Both bottom front and rear of the cover are elasticated and there is also two straps with male and female buckles to secure it underneath, with tortion straps attached to pull the cover tight. These buckles have non scratch plastic outer surfaces as standard.

Q: Does the Prestige Indoor Cover have a soft and fleecy lining?

A: Yes, it has a very soft and fleecy microfibre lining which is very delicate on your paintwork. There may be a very small amount of microfibre shedding (fluff) during the first few weeks of ownership. This is normal for the fabric and like any new material should be left to bed in. No fibres can or will harm your bike in any way. We advocate the use of a sticky clothes roller to remove any excess fibres. These covers are supplied to Audi and Mercedes worldwide and as such adhere to the very strictest manufacturing guidelines.

Q: What kind of guarantee do I get?

A: There is a 1 year manufacturers guarantee on our STORMSHIELD OUTDOOR COVERS and a 1 year manufacturers guarantee with all SPORTSBIKE INDOOR COVERS as standard. As long as the bike is not subject to intense Engine or exhaust heat damage or unreasonable wear and tear.

Q. Will an outdoor cover withstand equatorial sunlight ?

A.
The outdoor Stormshield cover is not intended to be used in direct equatorial sunlight. The cover has been designed for the Temperate zones of the world with slightly more modest temperatures. If you do purchase from a country with this type of climate you may experience a dicolouration of the cover. We would advise that if you do use an outdoor cover in these type of temperatures that you place the covered bike in a shaded environment at all times, to safeguard the life of the cover.

Q. Can the cover be put on a wet bike?

A. You can but we wouldn't recommend it. You are trying to keep water out not in. Always better to let the bike dry naturally than cover wet. Try and make sure the bike is clean before applying the cover as any road dirt trapped between the bike and the cover could be abrasive to the paintwork.

Q. How soon will I get my cover after ordering?

A. We have between 500-1,000 covers in stock at any one time so delivery is normally 24 hours after your card payment has cleared. This is dependent upon stock availability (call 0191-2845130 for details) up to 2-3 weeks for custom or non stock colour options. Delivery is via DPD Courier or Royal Mail recorded delivery , For bespoke covers, we need a little longer to make and apply your colour/logo choices, so we say allow 3-4 weeks (this is during our busiest periods and is considerably shorter during less busy periods) for delivery.For international delivery, our costs are simple,  FREE to UK mainland, £19.99, everywhere else.

Q. If a cover for my bike or scooter is not shown on your website what shall I do?

Our Covers are a specific fit for each make and model of bike, so all we need is the make, model and sometimes the year and we'll know the cover you need.

Q: Does the cover have a storage bag?

A: Yes, each cover comes with its own cylindrical drawstring storage bag as standard.

Q: I live outside the UK, can I still order a cover?

A: Yes, Our shopping cart displays the price in UK pounds so simply convert the price to your own currency. We offer a worldwide delivery service, just choose your country in the ordering process and the price for delivery will be displayed and added to your order costs, currently £19.99 outside the UK for everywhere in the world.

Can I still use my bike lock with the cover on?


A: Yes, we fit special chrome metal eyelets into the bottom / front of all bike covers for this reason, they have an 11mm diamter for a small padlock chain to be attached.

Q. Can I return a cover if it does not fit?

A. Yes, Exchanges must be requested within 7 working days from the day after you have received the cover. In accordance with the distance selling directive maintained and upheld by trading standards. The cover must be returned in original packaging, if possible or secure packaging if the original is damaged or defaced.  This does not affect your statutory rights. As indicated on our website, bespoke hand tailored covers cannot be returned for refund, unless they fall under one of the three parameters set out in the Sale of Goods act 1979. In which case if you do feel you have a right to refund, repair or replacement, please follow our returns policy and upon reaching agreement with you, we will gladly uphold your rights under the Sale of Goods Act. You will have been asked to confirm during the checkout process that you have read understand our terms and conditions, they are there to provide clear guidance on what to do in the event you are dissatisfied in any way.You MUST follow our returns policy on every single occassion to seek the appropriate redress.

Cover exchanges if necessary will be arranged, collected and re-dispatched by our couriers DPD as long as it has been demonstrated that the returns procedure has been followed.  Please do not return products without our authorisation as these postal costs will not be met. and goods not taken back.  Our website shows testimonials from satisfied customers who have been refunded or had replacement/repaired covers, we do operate a fair and reasonable returns policy and would request that you simply read it and allow us to follow it should in the unlikely event the cover not be what you have ordered.

Call us to let us know there is a problem. Send us a photograph of the problem. Await our agreement that we agree with your assessment of the problem. When both parties are in agreement we will take back the goods and make good your replacement for dispatch ASAP. This need not take more than a couple of hours if the email is received and your attachments are not enormous. If possible try and send photographs as small JPEG images and not TIFF, GIFF or PSD files which can be delayed through the email servers due to the sheer size of the data transfer involved.

Please note our returns address is not the same as our office address. Do not send covers back to our office address as they incur further delay and require repackaging and re-distributing to our returns centre. This will add significantly to any lead time in sorting out the dispute.

Please note all returned covers are never resold.
